Masters & Seniors Swimming

The EDSC Masters (25+) & Seniors (18 to 24) swimming programme comprises of 1 large squad with capacity for 70 swimmers. It is the largest and lays claim to being most successful Masters & Seniors swimming squad in the County of Kent.

Our programme sees the squad training at the following local pools: Erith Leisure Centre and Thamesmere Leisure Centre.

Athletes can start their swimming journey with us from the age of 18.

All athletes pay an "Annual Membership fee" which is due on joining the club and annually on the 1st February. Athletes are also required to pay a monthly squad fee and details of these can be viewed here: EDSC Swimming Fees 2026.pdf

EDSC Masters & Seniors participate in swimming competitions throughout the year and we aim to get every athlete competing for and representing our Club on a regular basis. Our competition programme comprises of:

  • Team gala's: Generally fun competitions for those wanting a taster of more formal competition.
  • County Championships: Which are held in May and June.
  • Regional Championships: Which are held throughout the year.
  • National Championships: Which are held in October.

Every competitive swim time achieved is recorded within Swim Club Manager and swimmers are able to log into their own portal via the EDSC website and track their progress ( SwimClub Manager ). Times achieved at Swim England licensed competitions are also stored and published in Aquatics GB Rankings database. Swimmers can use this to review where they are ranked for their age group across the county, the region or the nation.

The EDSC Masters & Seniors Coaching Team are a volunteer team and are led by Jenny Vick. Jenny is supported by our amazing team of Assistant Coaches: Paul Graimes, Luch Cowell and John Burdett.
