Masters & Seniors Swimming

Erith Masters have been in existence now since the late 1980’s and has been very successful over that period. Together with the Senior Squad, we compete at the County’s, Southern Region’s, National and International level and also in Open Water events including sea swims, lake swims and Channel swims. We also run our own Seniors and Masters open meet halfway through the year (entry details are available via the EDSC Meets menu) and a fun team gala in early Spring.

In our history we have boasted an ex-Commonwealth swimmer and various Kent, Regional and National winners and medalists including a European Masters title and European record holder to our name.

We like to promote a Club that will cater to the needs of all abilities with a view to compete at all these levels whilst maintaining a high level of fitness. All of our training sessions are coached and structured around competing, fitness, stroke work, starts and turns and we are always open to suggestions on how to improve. We swim about 2-3k per hour depending on abilities with up to 4 training sessions available each week.

There is joining fee followed by an annual membership fee. Upon registration, all fees should be payable via monthly direct debit through our SwimClub Manager portal. There is also a special Masters Weekend State Pension and Seniors Weekday rate at around half the cost of the standard squad membership. Details of which can be found on the Subscriptions page.

We also offer a varied social calendar from quiz nights, seasonal do’s, pub trips after galas and plenty more to keep the whole experience fun.

So if you’re a competitive Senior swimmer aged 18-24 or a competitive Masters swimmer aged over 25 please get in touch with the Masters & Seniors Manager via the Contact Us page.
