Erith and District Swimming Club (EDSC) is a fun and competitive swimming club based in South East London. The Club was established in 1912 and is one of the oldest swimming clubs in the area. The Club, which remains a not-for-profit sports organisation, caters for swimmers of all ages, offering a Learn to Swim programme, a Competitive Swimming programme, Seniors and Masters, as well as an Artistic Swimming section.

If not already in the teaching groups, possible new members to one of our Prep or Competitive Swimming squads are expected to complete a trial. Please Request a Trial and we'll get in contact normally within a few days. Potential Synchronised Swimmers or Masters (aged 25+) and Seniors (aged 18+) should contact the appropriate manager via the Contact Us page.

  • Wavepower is the Swim England Child Safeguarding Policies and Procedures manual that has been adopted by Erith and District Swimming Club.

SwimClub Manager

EDSC has recently adopted a new club management system, which handles our member database, invoicing, accounts, meet entries, results and web editing and hosting. All paying members benefit from a login and use of the associated free app that can be used to check training times, purchase club kit, enter meets and see their latest personal best swims. SwimClub Manager has vastly reduced the amount of volunteer time that goes into running the club on a day to day basis. It is a UK based company that understands the needs of UK swimming clubs.
