Many thanks for your entries, We have a full meet and we look forward to welcoming you to Crook Log Leisure Centre on Sunday the 19th of May. Please take a moment to check your entries which can be viewed here: ( masters meet 2024 accepted entries.pdf ) or via Meet Mobile (search for Erith Masters Meet). The report lists swimmers by Club and then by name. If there are any errors, let me know before the competition as mistakes are much easier to fix in advance of the day. Note that entries made without entry times are listed as such (NT) and swimmers without entry times will be seeded in the first heat. If you are able to let us have an entry time (albeit approximate), please do as this assists us with timings.
You can also view a full meet programme here: masters meet 2024 accepted entries.pdf
And the same report split by age group here: masters meet 2024 full meet report with age group splits.pdf

SIGN OUT ARRANGEMENTS
Anyone wishing to withdraw should send an email to [email protected] confirming their name and event(s) from which they wish to withdraw. The deadline for withdrawing is the start of the warm up for each session. It is extremely easy for swimmers not to sign out but those not doing so leave empty lanes and wasted session time for all involved. We do have a very full day of swimming planned so please show respect for others at the meet by making every effort to let us know you are withdrawing from an event.
800m / 1500m RESERVE LIST
We do have a reserve list of swimmers for both the 800m and 1500m FS events. This can be viewed here: ( 800m and 1500m reserve list.pdf ) We do ask that anyone not planning on taking part in either of these events let us know as soon as possible in order that we can inform those on the reserve list.
ON THE DAY GUIDANCE
We will not have use of both pool decks and the leisure centre will be running lessons in the teaching pool throughout the day. Competitors are welcome to situate themselves on poolside or in the viewing gallery (which seats 200).
There will be no marshalling. Competitors will need to self-marshall and report to their lane in time for their heat. Heat sheets will be printed and posted around poolside and in the gallery. Heat sheets will also be available on Meet Mobile.
There is ample parking at the leisure centre. The cafeteria will be open all day serving hot and cold food and drinks.
We do still have capacity to add in more relay teams. It would be great to see more clubs taking part in the relays. Clubs still wishing to enter can still do so by sending a completed entry form which can be found in the Entry Pack ( Entry Pack - EDSC Masters Meet.pdf )
OFFICIALS / TIMEKEEPERS
As always, we are in need of help from officials. If you have anyone joining you on the day who would be able to assist with officiating then please ask them to contact me: [email protected] . No offer of help is ever refused and is always appreciated.
KCASA LONG DISTANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Competitors who are registered with Kent clubs will automatically be entered in to Kent County Masters Long Distance Championship events (200m+). Medals for these events will be available for collection from the Kent County medal table throughout the day. Medals for the EDSC Masters Meet, which are awarded to top-scoring individuals in each age group plus relay winners will be presented by our Club Presidents, Alex Wilkes and Paul Nicholls, at the end of the day.

I do hope that I have covered everything. As always, should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Kind regards,
John Burdett
