EDSC fun day - Saturday 11th July
File0066Every EDSC Member should make an extra special effort to attend our fun day. Tickets for the event are on sale Tuesdays and Thursdays - just £3 each or £10 for a family ticket. Don’t forget all swimmers that competed in the Tudor or Junior Speedo Leagues will also get presented with medals with the top ten swimmers in each league being presented with a trophy.
Other highlights of the day will include:
- cheap bar and BBQ;
- children’s entertainer;
- soak the coach;
- bouncy castles;
- face painting;
- children’s games;
- disco

PLEASE TRY AND SELL ALL OF YOUR RAFFLE TICKETS... and if you have sold them ask Tim or Luch for more on Club nights.

An excellent weekend saw us collect a total of 17 medals and achieve many personal bests. The Germany DVD is likely to be ready to purchase at the EDSC Fun Day, priced at £10. You will also have the option of purchasing an MP4 version of it that can be copied onto any compatible portable video players (including Ipod), phone or computer.

swim 21 accreditation
Swim21_AccreditatedEDITErith and District Swimming Club have received Swim 21 accreditation, the ASA’s quality mark that recognises clubs that are committed to safe, effective and quality services for the benefit of their members. A big well done must go to Tony Ball and John Burdett that led the way in working towards this achievement. For more info on Swim21 CLICK HERE.

wednesday night training
All Top / Red / Junior squad swimmers with Kent County qualifying times are now invited to swim at Dartford Grammar School on a Wednesday between   8.15 and 9.30pm. Please see revised training times HERE.

Masters can check on their own dedicated page for updates as to when training is to take place at Erith Sports Centre.

the search has begun for EDSC related video/camcorder footage to fill the upcoming EDSC TV page. If you have any ancient camcorder footage of Annual Galas gone by or our trips abroad please let me know via e-mail paul@edsc.org.uk. Old photographs (presentations in particular) and any other recorded EDSC related material is welcomed to assist in building a large online library of EDSC’s past. We’ll also be catching up with some old EDSC faces...
